Discover Athletic Talents programme launched

Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): Four pairs of basketball, football and volleyball teams under Discover the Kingdom's Talented Athletes programme implemented and supervised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs will compete in local tournaments according to the timetable approved by the Supervisory Panel. The teams participation under the programme enjoys the direct support of the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder which reflects all keenness on honing the skills of participants in the leading programme. The programme aims to enhance sports activities and generate more sports talents - male and female equally alike - who will join the national teams, according to the programme supervisor, Salameh Ateeq.
