BREEF championship to begin on Friday

Manama, Feb. 17 (BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa president of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), the federation continues its preparations to launch the local showjumping championship at the Military Association's racecourse in Al Raffa with participation of elite Bahraini riders. His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid has approved the working committees in the federation's local championship, including the junior class as well as advanced first, second, third level class for adults contests which will start on Friday, February 19. The organising committee is chaired by Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and membership of Shaikh Abdullah Al Khaifa, Hayder Al Zubi, Mohammed Dadalla and Ahmed Jahromi. The arbitration panel includes: Hayder Al Zubi, Ayedh Nasser Abdullah, umpire and commentator, Mohammed Dadalla, routes designer, Hassan Ghuloom routes and hurdlers builder, besides the commissioners Bilal Mubarak, Ali Ghuloom and Ridha Mohammed.
