BOC to meet golf association board

Manama, Apr. 11. (BNA): The Bahrain Olympic Committee will begin a series of meetings with representatives of the newly-formed 19 sports associations in an attempt to review their reports for 2014 as well as future plans. The committee’s first meeting is scheduled for today when they visit the premises of the Bahrain Golf Association, being presided by Shaikh Abdulla bin Salman Al Khalifa. The association will present a complete report on the past achievements and future programmes, in addition to a presentation on the association’s strategy. These meetings will be attended by BOC secretary-general Abdulrahman Askar, who said the committee will continue its support to the sports associations in accordance with available resources. Askar thanked the sports associations for their cooperation with the committee in setting up the meetings, aimed to reach the desired objectives of both parties.
