Bahrain Cycling Association plans reviewed

Manama, June 8 (BNA): The future plans of the Bahrain Cycling Association (BCA), which includes the crucial Asian Championship, which Bahrain hosts in 2017, were reviewed with the Bahrain Olympic Committee recently. Representatives of both parties had a meeting to discuss the programmes of the association, which were presented by BCA vice-president Mohammed Al Jowder. Al Jowder also gave a detailed report on the association activities, which they intend to have soon as part of their annual plan. On his part, BOC Sports Medicine Section head Dr Khalid Al Shaikh made a presentation on the services being provided by the section to representatives of the national sports associations and Bahraini teams besides the experience enjoyed by his staff to deliver quality services. Late on, BOC Media, Public Relations and Marketing director Mohammed Lori briefed the attendance on his department services that can be provided for the association when Bahrain organises the Asian Championship. BOC Sports Associations director Hisham Al Balooshi and Sports Associations Affairs head Hamad Al Baker spoke about the administrative, financial and organizing procedures to ensure smooth transactions between the two parties.
