Azerbaijani duet of canoeists takes fourth place at London Olympics

Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug. 9 / Trend / Azerbaijani canoeists took the fourth place at XXX London Olympics. Today a duet from Azerbaijan, Sergiy Bezugly and Maksim Prokopenko, participated in the finals of men's canoe double (C2) 1000m. Rivals of our athletes were Liviu Dumitrescu-Lazar / Victor Mihalachi (Romania), Jaroslav Radon / Filip Dvorak (Czech Republic), Alexey Korovashkov / Ilya Pervukhin (Russia), Peter Kretschmer / Kurt Kuschela (Germany), Maoxing Huang / Qiang Li (China), Andrei Bahdanovich / Aliaksandr Bahdanovich (Belarus), Serguey Torres / Jose Carlos Bulnes (Cuba).
