Algeria Defeat Kuwait in Men's Basketball Competition

Doha, December 21 (QNA) - Algeria defeated Kuwait 92-79 to take the fifth place in men's basketball competition at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall on Wednesday. On other hand, Lebanon downed Iraq 89-75 on Wednesday to secure the seventh place. On placing fifth overall, Mounir Benzegala of Algeria said "The tournament was worth coming to. It's always fun to play tournaments like this. It was great to win the last game." Kuwait coach Jordancoh DAVITKOV commented "Good game. We tried hard. They were taller than us."
