Al Sadd Team Heads to Japan Tomorrow for FIFA Club World Cup

Doha, December 05 (QNA) - Al Sadd senior football team is leaving tomorrow, Tuesday, for the Japanese city of Nagoya to participate in the eighth edition of FIFA Club World Cup that kicks off next Thursday and continues till December 18. The delegation is headed by club's General Secretary Jassim Al Rumaihi and includes 23 players. Sports Director Mohamed Gholam had arrived in Nagoya today, Monday, to prepare for the arrival of the delegation. Al Sadd plays its first game on Sunday against Tunisian Esperance team and would meet European Champions FC Barcelona in the semi finals if they win. (QNA)
