Al Sadd and Likhwiya Contest for HH the Heir Apparent's Cup Tomorrow

Doha, May 03 (QNA) -Al Sadd Sports Club will meet its Likhwiya counterpart tomorrow, Saturday, in the strongest ever match in their journey to the final of this year’s HH the Heir Apparent Cup at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium . Everything is pointing towards an incredible match which will be ruled by Qatari International Referee Abdullah Al-Balloushi who had earlier run the Al Sadd-Al Gharrafa battle in their 2009 final. The next 90 minutes could be the most intense of the season. Time will tell if their mind overcomes their matter to be crowned Heir Apparent Cup champions for the first. The history of confrontations between the two teams is full of goals and excitement, where the two teams met for the first time in the Sheikh Jassim Cup and Lekhwia resolved the match in its favour with two goals to one goal. Then a second victory was achieved when Likhwiya won the 2010 season in the Stars League with a clean goal when Al-Saddd responded to Al-Sadd in the second leg of the 2011 season with two goals scored by Yusuf Ahmed and Ali Hassan Al-Afif and followed by another winning in the first leg with a goal scored by Mussa'd Ali Al-Hamad.(QNA)
