85-year old athlete Ts.Radnaa sets new records

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. World Champion Ts.Radnaa, 85 years old, has set new records in three categories: triple jump, 60-meter race and 80-meter hurdles during his participation in the Athletics competitions being held in Australia. He is competing in the five categories in the competition and is to run today for 200-meter and 400-meter races. Last April, the Mongolian senior athlete became world champion in Masters’ M85 400-meter race, 60-meter hurdles and triple jump at his first World Masters Athletics Championships in Torun, Poland, where he set a new record in Masters’ M85 400-meter race, finishing in one minute and 20.65 seconds.
