4th Pakistani Mass Wrestling Championship held in Lahore with active assistance of Kyrgyz Embassy

Bishkek, March 3, 2021 / Kabar /. The 4th Pakistani Mass Wrestling Championship was held with the participation of about 400 athletes representing 25 teams from all over the country, with the active assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Pakistan and under the auspices of the Kyrgyz Ambassador to the IRP. The event was held from 27 to 28 February this year in one of the largest cities of Pakistan - the city of Lahore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. The Kyrgyz ambassador in his speech noted the thousand-year history of mass wrestling, or in the Kyrgyz language - tayak tartysh, which is described in the Manas epic, as well as the importance of the event as a festival of sports, culture and friendship. The successful sports competition received a wide response among the public and the media in Pakistan.
