26 Trainees Pick up Cardio Tips at QOC-QRC Course
Doha, July 12 (QNA) - Twenty-six supervisors from Al-Firjan (Areas) playgrounds from across Qatar benefited from the productive First Aid Training Course on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), organized jointly by the HR training Unit at the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and the Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) at the QOC headquarters.
At the closing session on Wednesday, the course key speaker, Rida Abo Malan delivered a final presentation on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, outlined the procedures to be taken by the family and friends in case of emergency, a QOC bulletin said Thursday.
A number of final tests were conducted for trainees during the closing session and they also received the appreciation certificates in a festive scene.
The productive medical course brought together some 26 supervisors represent Al Firjan (Areas) playgrounds across the country.
The course mainly aims to increase the awareness of sport related-officials about the First Aid procedures to be taken as a temporary treatment for any heart attack or sudden health problems may harm athletes during games and competitions. (QNA)
