So Far…More Than 1,638,609 Pilgrims Entered Iraq To Perform The Arbaeen Visit Of Imam Hussein (PBUH).

 Baghdad / NINA /- The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Tuesday, the daily position of arrivals from all ports to commemorate the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, yesterday.

The ministry said in a statement: "Headed by the Minister of Interior, Abd al-Amir al-Shammari, the Supreme Security Committee to secure the Arbaeen pilgrimage continues its work, with the deployment of the security forces in charge of this duty in all areas and the roads taken by pilgrims (visitors) towards the holy city of Karbala, amid full alertness of the intelligence, security and service effort."

It added, that the concerned authorities have initiated procedures to facilitate the entry of visitors from all ports of the country, namely (Al-Munthariya - Zirbatiya - Al-Sheeb - Al-Shalamcheh - Safwan - Mandali - Kirkuk - Al-Qaim - Baghdad Airport - Najaf Airport - Basra Airport). The number of incoming vehicles has reached (7734) vehicles, while the number of arrivals reached (336,010) people, and thus the number of arrivals since the beginning of the visit ceremony reached (1,638,609).

It continued, the visitors continue to perform the ceremonies of the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in an atmosphere of faith and great efforts made by the concerned authorities to provide them with the best services./ End
