New Medicine Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- Researchers of Kim Il Sung University in the DPRK developed a fine organic synthesis technology for making risedronate efficacious for osteopathy. They were recently awarded WIPO MEDAL FOR INVENTORS and certificates. Risedronate has proved highly effective in treating osteopathy like aseptic necrosteosis through clinical trials at different public health establishments, including the Korea General Red Cross Hospital and Pyongyang Municipal People's Hospital No. 2. -0-
