Kyrgyzstan reports 68 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday 68 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 179,913. Among the new cases, 54 were confirmed in the capital city of Bishkek, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19. The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased to 174,692 after 45 more were added, while the death toll reached 2,636 with 2 deaths reported over the past day. Meanwhile, there are 1,081 active cases in the country, 542 of them are being treated in hospitals, and 539 patients are receiving treatment at home.
