Kyrgyzstan records 870 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2022. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan recorded on Wednesday 870 new COVID-19 cases, raising its total number of infections to 192,158.
Of the total number of infected, 627 cases are registered in the Kyrgyz capital city. Bishkek remains the most virus-hit area in Kyrgyzstan.
According to data of the Health Ministry, 181,426 of the total number of cases have recovered, including 201 new recoveries over the past day.
The pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 2,838 Kyrgyz people, including two in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 1,020 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, while another 5,383 patients are receiving treatment at home.
