Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 178,036

Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2021 /Kabar/. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 178,036 after registration of 95 new cases on Thursday. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 172,565 of the total number of cases have recovered, including 96 new recoveries over the past day. The death toll from COVID-19 in the country stood at 2,595, no new deaths were reported over the past day. Meanwhile, there are 1403 active cases in the country, 553 of them are in hospitals across the country and 850 patients are receiving treatment at home. Since the vaccination program began in Kyrgyzstan in March, 784,948 people have been vaccinated, 583,34 of them have received both doses.
