Kyrgyz president once again calls citizens of country to receive COVID-19 vaccine

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov published a post on the official page on social networks and called on all Kyrgyzstanis to get vaccinated against COVID-19. “Today, 46 people have been registered with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, three have died. They were all unvaccinated. Once again, please, get vaccinated. According to the latest data, 1 million 16 thousand of our citizens have been vaccinated. As a result, the incidence rate began to decline,” the head of state wrote. Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29. The country is also inoculating its residents with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Astra Zeneca, QazVac and Pfizer vaccines. A total of 181,982 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan since the pandemic, 176,392 of them have recovered, 2,694 have died.
