JAKARTA, Feb 8 (Antara) - Two Indonesian delegates Daniel Naek Chrisendo and Langit Rinesti participated in the Week of International Scientific Young Talents (Semaine des Jeunes Talents Scientifiques Internationaux), held in Paris, France, on Jan 29-Feb 3. Chrisendo was chosen for his contribution in promoting science in Indonesia. The man, who has gained his masters degree in urban development from the Ghent University of Belgium, Pisa University of Italy, and Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, was active as a science teacher in a primary school under the humanitarian teaching movement of Indonesia Mengajar and has contributed to the "Kuark" science comic books. "During the study and while presenting our scientific activities at this international forum, my insight into science has widely increased, and I realized that our work in the field of science is not merely limited to being a scientist but also playing the roles of a science communicator and mediator, as well as working in a science museum and being a mastermind for the science exhibition," he noted in a written statement received by Antara, Tuesday.
