Azerbaijan confirms 933 new coronavirus cases

Baku, March 18, AZERTAC 933 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 256 patients have been recovered, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC. According to the Task Force, 7 persons have died after testing positive for COVID-19. “The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 243,424, with 231,894 recoveries and 3,314 deaths, while treatment of 8,216 others is underway. A total number of 2,746,681 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far,” the Task Force added.
