Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency: 402.7 hectares of liberated territory cleared from mines and UXOs in January

Baku, February 1, AZERTAC “During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts from January 5 to 31, 32 anti-personnel and 27 anti-tank mines, as well as 230 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement. “As a result, 402.7 hectares have been cleared of mines and UXOs in January,” the agency added.
