Russian doctors to provide free consultations to parents of children with disabilities in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 14, 2023. / Kabar /. From 16 to 21 June in Bishkek, two highly qualified specialists from Russia will provide free consultations to parents raising children with disabilities, the press service of the Russian House in Bishkek said.

Thus, representatives of the Marfo-Mariinsky Medical Center "Mercy" are arriving in the capital:

• Oksana Vladimirovna Kovalenok — chief physician, pediatrician, palliative care physician;

• Andrey Aleksandrovich Gorlov — neurologist, head of exercise therapy and rehabilitation.

They will conduct examinations and consultations for patients under 16 years of age with neurological diseases and cerebral palsy.

Specialists will fly to Bishkek as part of the Mission Dobro project - the short-term field trips to provide volunteer assistance abroad, which have been implementing since 2021by Rossotrudnichestvo, the Association of Volunteer Centers and partners.

In Bishkek, the project is being carried out within the framework of cooperation with the Uplift Public Foundation on the basis of the Kelechek Rehabilitation Center.
