Qatar ready to consider proposal of Kyrgyzstan to jointly develop tourism and hydropower

Bishkek, June 7, 2023. / Kabar /. We will carefully study Kyrgyzstan's proposals to invest in hydropower and jointly develop tourism, visiting Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, told during negotiations with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov.

The Emir of Qatar thanked President Sadyr Zhaparov and the people of Kyrgyzstan for the warm welcome.

“I would like to emphasize that during your visit to the World Championship in Qatar, you voiced interesting economic proposals. I am convinced that we will be able to build up relations further and find understanding on all issues of interest to us at the level of our governments. I would also like to highlight your proposals on the joint implementation of hydropower projects and the joint development of the tourism potential of our countries. We will study these initiatives,” he concluded.
