IS warns some states from interfering in Iraq’s internal affairs after the US withdrawal

Baghdad (NINA) - The Iraqiya Slate warned some countries from exploiting security gap that will be created by the U.S. withdrawal and interfere in the Iraqi internal affairs in the absence of integrated security institutions. The spokeswoman for the Iraqiya Slate, Maysoon Al Damlouji, said in a press statement "the IS, at a time welcomes the US implementation of the Parliament’s and leaders of political blocs’ decision, the withdrawal of the US military, warns some countries to exploit the security gap created by the withdrawal to expand their penetration and interference in the Iraqi internal affairs in violation to diplomatic norms and rules of good neighborhing, in the absence of security, military and intelligence integrated institutions." She continued "the past parliament previously stipulated that US military withdraws from Iraq at the end of 2011 as well as conducting a referendum for the Iraqi people about the presence of US forces, and voting by an absolute majority on the document for political reform. So far, the government failed to achieve any of the last two requirements." She noted that the IS did not have any representation nor was familiar with the details of the negotiation process between the parties of the Iraqi government and the US, yet, it fully committed to the decision of the leaders of political blocs and the decision of the previous parliament. /End/
