U.S. state department executives due to Turkey
WASHINGTON (A.A) - 10.03.2011 - U.S. state department executives would visit Turkey, Azerbaijan and Spain on March 10-17, a department statement said on Wednesday.
Farah Pandith, the special representative to Muslim Communities, and Hannah Rosenthal, the special envoy to combat and monitor anti-Semitism, will be accompanied by Public Affairs Deputy Assistant Secretary Cheryl Benton during their Turkey, Azerbaijan and Spain tour.
In Turkey, Pandith and Rosenthal will meet and engage with young people, government officials and community leaders on interfaith dialogue and tolerance.
