US Deputy Secretary of State Arrives In Baghdad

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan arrived in Baghdad this afternoon. "US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan arrived in Baghdad and met with officials of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry immediately after his arrival," the press office of the US embassy said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA). "Sullivan will meet with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and then meet the speaker of parliament Salim al-Jubouri," the office said. Sullivan will also visit the Kurdistan region, concluding his visit to Iraq.
