UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Central Asia to visit Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2020 / Kabar /. Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Central Asia Natalya Gherman intends to arrive in Bishkek on Oct. 15, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported. The purpose of the visit is to hold a meeting with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov to discuss the current situation in the country. Earlier, in his statements, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reaffirmed the UN's readiness to assist Kyrgyzstan in finding solutions to overcome the crisis within the framework of the constitutional process and the earliest economic stabilization of the country.
