UB TOURISM DEP'T AND POLICE TO COOPERATE FOR THE SAKE OF FOREIGN TOURISTS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The police and state organization will cooperate in protecting foreign tourists here. A cooperation memorandum was inked March 27 by E.Battulga, a Head of Ulaanbaatar's Tourism Department, and by D.Batjargal, a Chief of Metropolitan police department. If the document is realized properly, a lot of progress is expected in the protection of the tourists, for example, their complaints will be resolved within 48 hours, cameras will be installed at the places mostly attracting tourists, patrols will be added in streets, various advertisement, memo and guidance will be available at airports, railway stations and commercial centers. Apart of this, special people will be trained to deal with these works, and cameras will witness how the foreign tourists are treated at service points. Ch.Enkhtuya
