UB TO COOPERATE WITH DENMARK IN IMPROVING WATER SUPPLY IN NALAIKH

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia will introduce standards of drinking-water supply and sewage-works which are widely used in Scandinavian countries. A 2012-2018 cooperation memorandum on it was signed Tuesday by E.Bat-Uul, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city and Mr Lars Kastholm, a chairman of the board of directors of Danish company "DBC Vandtech". In frames of the memorandum, the sides will collaborate in augmenting size of drinking water in the city's Nalaikh district and it is expected quality of drinking water and cleaning of wastewater treatment plant will be improved. The Danish “DBC Vandtech” will draw up design of the drinking water supply and sewage-works plants and will construct the buildings for them. In addition, these installations will be fully equipped with automatic facilities that can work in minus 35 C. General planning department of Ulaanbaatar city have been cooperating in the project planning and technical solutions. Ch.Enkhtuya
