UB CITY MAYOR RECIEVES TURKISH DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar city Mayor Mr E.Bat-Uul recieved Mr Erdinc Calkir, the General manager of Turkish air transportation "Turkish airlines" company on January 9. The latter said that Mr Bat-Uul has been "playing an important role in Mongolia's history". Mr E.Bat-Uul thanked him for this words and said that Istanbul's experience in re-planning has become very important for the UB city's intention to re-plan the ger (national dwelling) districts. The Mayor said that, since it is impossible to solve air pollution and soil contamination problems of the ger areas without erecting apartment blocks, a participation of the Turkish investors is would be very welcomed in constructing buildings in these districts.
