UAE offers US$500 million to support Yemen

GENEVA, 3rd April, 2018 (WAM) -- Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, has announced the UAE support for the United Nations 2018 Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan, YHRP, with a total of US$500 million. This came during a High-Level Pledging Event in Geneva for the Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen, to support the humanitarian response in the country and help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
