TURKISH PRIME MINISTER HOLDS TALKS IN UAE



ABU DHABI (A.A) - 18.01.2010 - Turkey's prime minister, who is currently paying a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with foreign leaders in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Erdogan held separate talks with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Zayid al-Nuhayyan of UAE, Lebanese Prime Minister Sa'ad al-Din al-Hariri and President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives.
The gatherings were closed to press.
Erdogan also held a closed-door meeting with Amir Muhammad Bin Rashid al-Maktum of Dubai at the prime ministry building.
During the gathering, Al-Maktum praised Turkey's economic and diplomatic success, as well as its relations with neighboring countries, officials said.
Erdogan informed al-Maktum on Turkey's foreign policy and expressed Turkey's will to cooperate with UAE in areas such as defense industry, energy diversity, peaceful nuclear energy investments, student exchange and health tourism, officials added.
