Turkish premier cancels visit to Qatar

ANKARA (A.A) - December 7, 2011 - Turkish prime minister cancelled on Wednesday his visit to Qatar, sources said. Sources told AA correspondent that Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan would not travel to Qatar this weekend, but continue resting at home. On Sunday, Turkish Directorate General of Press and Information said that Erdogan would go to Qatar on December 10 to attend Doha Summit of the Alliance of Civilizations to take place on December 10-12. Erdogan underwent a laparoscopic surgery in his digestive system on November 26, was discharged from hospital on November 29. The Turkish premier has been resting in his house since then.
