Turkish national defense minister due to the United States
ANKARA (A.A) - October 28, 2011 - Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz will pay a visit to the United States to attend a conference of American-Turkish Council (ATC).
A statement by his ministry said on Friday that Yilmaz would leave for the United States on October 30 to attend the 30th Annual Conference on U.S.-Turkish Relations of the ATC.
During his visit, Yilmaz will also meet with U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
Yilmaz is expected to return to Turkey on November 2.
