Turkish minister holds meetings in Hanoi
HANOI (A.A) - 23.02.2011 - The 5th meeting of Turkey-Vietnam Joint Economic & Commerce Committee ended in Hanoi on Tuesday.
Turkish State Minister & Deputy Premier Bulent Arinc and Vietnam's Industry & Trade Minister Vu Huy Hoang signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two countries.
Arinc said that the MoU would contribute to friendship and strengthen the economic ties between the two countries.
Arinc noted that the commercial and economic relations between Turkey and Vietnam were sustainable and full of opportunities to make a progress.
Also, Vietnamese minister said that the results of MoU meeting would contribute to the relations between the two countries, and expressed will to work more actively to fulfill the existing potential.
During the 5th meeting of Turkey-Vietnam Joint Economic & Commerce Committee, relations as well as commercial, economic and technical cooperation issues were discussed.
Following the closing the of the meeting, Arinc visited Vietnam Defense Museum.
Arinc also attended the inauguration of "Horizon International Bilingual School" --a Turkish school.
Delivering a speech in the inauguration, Arinc said that the school would give high-quality education to youths in Vietnam and these students will build the future of the country.
Arinc said that they would be glad to contribute to education of Vietnamese youths who would play a role of bridge between Turkey and Vietnam.
Deputy Premier Arinc is expected to depart from this country in the afternoon.
