Turkish hajjis attacked in Syria

HATAY (A.A) - November 21, 2011 - Two buses carrying Turkish hajjis on their way back to Turkey were attacked in Syria. Officials said Monday that an armed attack was staged early this morning on two buses carrying Turkish hajjis in a location between Syria's cities of Hama and Homs. Two people including a driver were slightly wounded in the attack, and they were hospitalized. Cemil Karli, who was receiving medical treatment at Reyhanli State Hospital in southern province of Hatay, told AA correspondent that fire was opened on their bus from a car carrying four people, stating that they did not understand why such an attack was staged on them. Karli was in good condition, officials said, adding that the other hajjis were on the way to their hometowns.
