ANKARA (A.A) - 23.02.2011 - Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu will travel to Britain and Germany next week, his office said on Wednesday.
Kilicdaroglu will be in Britain next Monday. First, he will attend a reception to be hosted by "Labour Friends of Turkey" and then he will deliver speeches at conferences to be organized by several British universities and Chatham House, home of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, a world-leading institute for the debate and analysis of international issues.
Kilicdaroglu will also be interviewed by several international media outlets and meet David Lidington, British Minister of State for EU.
Kilicdaroglu will be back in Turkey on March 3, but he will fly to Germany two days later on March 5 to take part in a festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first arrival of Turkish guest workers in Germany.
During his stay in Germany, Kilicdaroglu will also have meetings with representatives of several NGOs.
