TURKEY'S BIGGEST JAPANESE PARK TO BE OPENED IN KONYA
KONYA (A.A) - 04.08.2010 - Turkey's biggest Japanese Park will soon be opened to visitors in central Anatolian province of Konya.
The Japanese Park will sit on a land of 36,000 square meters.
Konya's "Japanese Kyoto Park" will include a 4,000 square meters pond, a Japanese garden, cafeteria, camelias, terraces for observation, stone and wooden bridges, stone torches, small islands, three entrance gates, natural hills, bamboo water games, a dry garden, and Japanese trees and plants.
The cafeteria will provide Japanese cuisine.
The Japanese Park cost the Konya Municipality around two million TL (approx. 1.33 million USD) to build.
