Turkey exhumes ex-president’s body

Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct.2 / Trend, A.Taghiyeva / Body of former Turkish President Turqut Ozal is being exhumed at the moment, Anadolu agency reported. Emergency vehicles, police squad and bomb disposal experts (just in case of explosives) have been involved at the scene. Turkish Prosecutor's Office started the necessary actions for exhumation on Sept.17, despite the fact that the ex-president's family is against it. According to former president's younger son Ahmet Ozal, the family is against it, because they believe it will not be worthwhile. Turkish Prosecutor's Office resumed the investigation of causes of Ozal's death, who died in 1993 under mysterious circumstances. Heart failure is still considered as official version of his death.
