TURKEY, AZERBAIJAN SIGN ENERGY AGREEMENTS
ISTANBUL (A.A) - 07.06.2010 - Turkey and Azerbaijan signed on Monday energy agreements in Istanbul.
Turkey's Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz and his Azerbaijani counterpart Natiq Aliyev put their signatures under a declaration on sale and transportation of Azerbaijani natural gas to Turkey.
The two countries also signed a memorandum of understanding on sale and transportation of Azerbaijani natural gas to Turkey and to Europe via Turkey.
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also attended the signing ceremony.
