Third Azerbaijani-Russian inter-regional forum opened in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 28 / Trend M. Aliyev / The third Azerbaijani-Russian inter-regional forum "Russian-Azerbaijani dialogue 2012" has today opened in Baku. The forum has been organized by the "Eurasian Research Institute" Development Fund with the support of the Azerbaijani and Russian Presidential Administrations. The representatives of the Russian central and regional bodies, large, medium and small business, Russian and Azerbaijani NGOs attended the forum. The proposals, which will be announced during the forum, are aimed at developing social and economic ties between the two countries, chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyad Samadzade said at the opening ceremony today. He added that each of these forums increases the level of strategic cooperation between the two countries. The issues of fundamental importance for both countries in the globalizing world are expected to be discussed at this forum. Its agenda includes the development of interregional cooperation, banking, monetary and investment policy, humanitarian cooperation and others, Samadzade added. Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev has delivered President Aliyev's welcome speech to the participants of the forum. Do you have any feedback?
