There are no closer peoples than Kyrgyz and Kazakhs: President Tokayev

Bishkek, March 2, 2021. / Kabar /. Kazakhstan remains firmly committed to the course of comprehensive deepening of partnership and allied relations, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov. The Kyrgyz president is in Kazakhstan for his state visit. The sides held talks in a narrow format and then switched to an extended one. During the meeting, Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the results of narrow format talks, adding that the sides thoroughly discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral agenda, identified the main directions of further cooperation, exchanged views on strengthening the dialogue within regional and international structures. He expressed satisfaction that Kyrgyzstan, in the person of Sadyr Zhaparov reaffirmed its commitment to resolving all issues and implementing previously reached agreements. The president assured that Kazakhstan also remains firmly committed to a comprehensive deepening of partnership and allied relations. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev especially emphasized that there are no closer nations than the Kyrgyz and the Kazakhs.
