Students gather to mark 80th anniversary of Thai democracy

BANGKOK, June 23 (TNA) - Students from various universities gathered Saturday at Bangkok’s Democracy Monument to mark the 80th anniversary of Thai democracy on June 24. At the event, the students from Chulalongkorn, Srinakharinwirot, Rajabhat Suan Dusit, and Chiang Mai Universities, for instance, carried banners calling for the Thai government to stop corruption. Performances were also held to mock the development of Thai democracy. (TNA)
