STATE PRIZES AWARDED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State prizes were awarded Friday to foremost people who succeeded in the fields of economics, education, health, science, culture, law, defense and media. The title of People's Medical Doctor was bestowed upon A.Nota, a ward manager at the "Achtan" private hospital; the title of Honored Medical Doctor went to D.Sukhee, an advisory at Research Center for Mothers and Infants. The State Honored titles of cultural figure, aviation technical expert, scientific figure, construction worker, transporter, agronomist were awarded to ten people. The Order of Sukhbaatar went to T.Sultan, a former MP and senior from Sukhbaatar district; the Red Flag Order of Labour Merit--to J.Gangaa, an advisor to the Daily Newspaper, and to B.Baatar, a citizen of Bayan-Olgii aimag; the Red Flag Order of Military Merit--to Lieutenant-Colonel Ch.Khurelbaatar, a deputy commander; and the Polar Star Order--to three people.
