STANDING COMMITTEE BACKS APPOINTMENTS OF AMBASSADORS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its meeting, the parliamentary Standing committee on foreign policy and security discussed and then backed a proposal of the State Head on appointing and calling back Ambassadors of Mongolia to some countries. According to a report given by P.Tsagaan, a head of the Presidential Office, Mr Altangerel Shukher (current Ambassador to France) has been suggested to the post of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation; Mr Tulga Narkhuu--to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; Mr Altai Zorig--to the Kingdom of Sweden; Mr Dugerjav Lhamsuren--to Bulgaria; and Mr Zumberellham Dorjdamba--to the Czech Republic. In conjunction with this, the Ambassador of Mongolia D.Idevkhten has been suggested to be called back from the Russian Federation; B.Altangerel--from the UK; B.Enkhmandakh--from the Kingdom of Sweden; Ts.Gankhuyag--from Bulgaria; and S.Tsoggerel--from the Czech Republic.
