Samsung C&T to built railway in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Samsung C&T Corporation made a contract with the Mongolian side on implementing a railway project of USD 483 million. The corporation is to run 217 kilometers of railroad in Tavan tolgoi--Gashuunsukhait direction and several railway structures. An estimated construction period is 30 months. Last years, the corporation has been implementing various projects in construction, infrastructure and energy spheres in the USA, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Taipei and Mexico. The Samsung C&T officials say that they are given high marks for their ample experience in railroad projects, excellence in technological prowess, and best construction time schedule. With the latest project, they are in an advantageous position to win additional projects here related to resource development.
