Sadyr Zhaparov meets with Ilham Aliyev

Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Istanbul, Turkey, on the sidelines of the Turkic Council Summit. The press service of Kyrgyz president said that a detailed conversation took place on topical issues of bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Sadyr Zhaparov, welcoming Ilham Aliyev, stressed that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are fraternal countries. He noted that Kyrgyzstan is always happy with the successes and achievements of the fraternal Azerbaijani people. Sadyr Zhaparov expressed interest in further building up cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and political spheres. Also, President Sadyr Zhaparov noted the importance of enhancing relations between the business circles of the two countries, which will help increase the volume of mutual trade, create the most favorable conditions for the growth of mutual trade. In turn, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev noted that today's Summit is of historical importance for the entire Turkic world, including Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, as the status of the Council is expected to rise to the Organization of Turkic States. He said that this is a good opportunity to talk about relations between the two states and interactions on a wide range of issues: political, economic and humanitarian spheres. The president of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that the meeting of the two leaders will give a good impetus to the further development of ties for the benefit of the two peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. In his opinion, the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation is full-fledged and aimed at the final result. The leaders of the two countries expressed mutual interest in building up joint cooperation on all issues of mutual interest.
