Ruslan Kazakbaev meets with Hungarian FM Peter Szijjarto

Bishkek, April 8, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held on Thursday a bilateral meeting with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Ministry said that the meeting took place as part of the Hungarian FM’s working visit to Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, Ruslan Kazakbaev noted that Kyrgyzstan and Hungary are friendly countries.
"We are very happy that our countries are linked with strategic partnership. We hope that our relations will move to an even higher level.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hungarian leadership and you personally for the humanitarian assistance you provided during the pandemic, as well as for the assistance to the Ministry of Defense in the form of water purification equipment for the Military Hospital, which will really help our Defense Ministry to participate in peacekeeping operations around the world. We value our bilateral and multilateral relations," the Kyrgyz minister said.
In turn, Peter Szijjártó noted with satisfaction that the two sides were able to give impetus to the strategic partnership.
"I am very happy that we will be able to create a strategic council, and we look forward to active cooperation. Today our relations will move to a higher level, because we will be able to contribute to the development of Kyrgyzstan with the help of technology through the creation of a development fund. And I expect that more Hungarian businesses will come to your market," Szijjártó added.
