Ruling party: European Parliament’s resolution is Azerbaijani foreign policy success

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 19 / Trend M. Aliyev / Azerbaijan's ruling party is assessing the resolution adopted by the European Parliament as being a success of the county's foreign policy. "Azerbaijan successfully cooperated with the EU within the Eastern Partnership," deputy chairman and executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan party Ali Ahmadov told media today. "This cooperation brings results." He added that the European Parliament's resolution is a point to further strengthen Azerbaijan's integration into Europe. "This is important both in terms of even closer cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European organisations and in terms of expanding the Caucasian policy of Europe," he said. "Azerbaijan has proven itself as a reliable partner over the years. I think that the European Parliament's resolution will give impetus to the further development of cooperation with the EU."
