Rodong Sinmun Slashes U.S. for Faulting "Human Rights Issue" of Other Countries

Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The U.S. crime against humanity committed in Afghanistan has been put under international criminal investigation, says Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary. Recently the British newspaper Independent cited detailed data to convey the fact. According to it, a public prosecutor of the International Criminal Court declared that he would conduct investigation into persons responsible for the crimes against humanity committed by the U.S. in Afghanistan. Presenting the massacre of more than 10 000 civilians by the U.S. there from 2007 to 2011 as typical evidence, he brought the lawsuit against the U.S. with the organization, pressing for a legitimate investigation into the case. The commentary says it is unusual that the prosecutor of the ICC brought a lawsuit against the U.S., adding the reason is because the U.S. crimes are so serious and can no longer be connived at. The massacre of peaceable citizens by the U.S. forces in Afghanistan was something beyond imagination, notes the commentary, and goes on: It is quite natural that the U.S. should be brought to the ICC and face legal punishment as it is the world's worst human rights abuser which committed the hideous crimes against humanity through the massacre of civilians in Afghanistan under the pretext of a "war on terrorism" in breach of international law. Recently it has hyped up the non-existent "human rights issue" in the DPRK and malignantly slandered it. The U.S. had better mind its own business, before getting so impudent as to vociferate about the "human rights" of others. -0-
