Resistance movement against Israel should not be undermined: Iranian Majlis speaker

TEHRAN,April 2 (MNA) – Iranian Majlis Speaker said that efforts should be made to prevent the resistance movement against the Zionist regime from being undermined. Larijani made the remarks during a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Tehran on Wednesday. During the meeting, Larijani commented on the relations between the two countries, saying, “Through close cooperation, Iran and Turkey can help resolve many of complicated issues and problems facing the region.” “The two countries’ great potential should be used to help increase comprehensive and fraternal relations, and efforts should be made to help expand trade ties between the two countries of Iran and Turkey,” he added. The Turkish prime minister said that ill-wishers should be prevented from damaging Tehran-Ankara relations. Larijani and Erdogan exchanged views on the latest regional developments, including the situation in Iraq and Syria, and agreed to continue their consultations on regional issues.
